Want to Have Gnome Games come to your School or Event?

Gnome Games brings games to your school!
All ages can enjoy an event together!

Upcoming Events

  • Does your school have an "ice-breaker" event planned to kick off the school year?
  • Do you want to give families a reason to come to school other than for Parent Teacher Conferences?
  • Do you have a Mini-Course week planned to re-invigorate your students during the mid-winter doldrums?
  • Would you like to build the social relationships between students in your school?
  • Do you just want to have some fun with the people you work with?
  • Looking for a special activity for your class to reenforce a lesson and reward students for their hard work?

Gnome Games™ can help make your school or groups social events more enjoyable.  Through our community outreach programs we facilitate social game events at Libraries, Churches, Museums and Schools.

It's our way of bringing the generations together and giving back to our community. Here is how it works:

  • Any interested organization can contact us to host an event.  We normally do not charge non-profit, schools or youth groups for this service.

  • You contact us with the details for your event.  Don’t worry if you don’t know what games to play – we’ll help you with that.  All we will need is the date and time you’d like to host the event; about how many people you plan on having and the ages and interests of the people attending your event.  You can contact us via phone (920) 499-4263 or email outreach@gnomegames.com

  • We coordinate the dates and theme of the event with you.

  • We pick age appropriate games and bring them to your event.

  • We teach / facilitate / referee the games with help from High School Volunteers**

  • We supply the games, prizes and leadership.  (Prizes can be a memorable part of a memorable game night - if you would like to have prizes there may be a nominal fee for them)

  • Your group provides the players and space (NOTE – We now have a space for groups up to 200 people.  If you need a place to play we can provide it for a nominal fee)

The result is an enjoyable evening where people get to know each other through play.

"You can learn more about a person in one hour of play than in one year of conversation" ~ Plato

** Need some volunteer service hours?  Gnome Games™ events held at local schools are Green Bay Public School District approved community service activity.  If you would like to help us with these events and need community service hours please contact Pat or Paula in person at Gnome Games™.

** Volunteering at a Gnome Games sponsored event is a GREAT way for High School students to earn their community service learning hours for graduation requirements. Anyone interested in volunteering must attend a 1 hour "class" at Gnome Games to learn the game they will host at the event.  Most events last 3 to 4 hours which will earn the student 4 to 5 community service learning hours.  Preble High School has approved our events for credit, however, please check with your school to be sure the event qualifies.

Bring a game to your classroom today!
Apples to Apples - One of the greatest social games of the century

Parents, Teachers, Educators

We have your games!

That's right - Gnome Games has a large number of games that can be used in the classroom after school or at home to help your children and students learn important facts and processes.  Many of our games teach much more than the basics of counting, basic addition and subtraction and rudimentary reading skills.  This is where we'll tell you all about them!

This is also where we are asking for your help!  If you use a game, have a lesson plan for a game, or on the other hand have tried a game that just didn't work please share it here!

We'll do our best to keep you informed about what is hot, give you lesson plans that hit specific Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction standards and benchmarks, as well as list the best of the ideas that you share with us!

So now on to the fun of learning!
