Killer Bunnies are back and continuing their conquest with red companions who each have a special power! Killer Bunnies and the Conquest of the Magic Carrot: Red Booster Deck adds new cards to the existing Killer Bunnies and the Conquest of the Magic Carrot set, as well as a red 12-sided die.
New cards include: “Orbital Missile Platform” for eliminating bunnies from orbit, “Kentucky Avenue” which allows players to steal a new Red bunny from an opponent, “Shuffleboard” for a quick Carrot grab and “Guardian Angel” to protect against Terrible Misfortunes. New mechanisms include a new Killer Bunnies market to buy back weapons for more fun and destruction, the election of bunny Senators to vote on game outcomes, and four new Carrots!

Gnome Games has been awarded the Green Bay Education Association Diversity Award for 2012 for our ‘Dedication to Minority Student Achievement using Fun and Games’. The award was presented to us at the GBEA Retirement and Awards Banquet May 16^th.

GBEA President Toni Lardinois generously shared her insight on some of the impact that our use of games has had on the community – reflecting that ‘kids of all ages that would never sit at a table together for any other reason sit across from each other, play games and learn from each other while playing, and they learn and have fun, and they want to do it!’

We are proud to be able to bring our games and outreach into the schools, classrooms, and to all the tables we share games with in the area. It is truly an honor to be selected for the Diversity Award and we want to thank all of the educators that have recognized what we do with students and families in the community. We also want to thank the families and students that have enjoyed the games we share. Without your support and ‘word of mouth’ we would not be as successful in our work in the community. We thank you for spreading the word and taking the time to play with us.

We look forward to even more fun in the future as we work together to bring the community together and improve our relationships through the use of games as a social interaction, educational and development tools.

Gnome Games will host a series of official Pokémon Battle Roads in May and June.

• Ashwaubenon – May 26^th 9 AM – Gnome Games Tournament Center

• Glendale – June 10^th 11 AM – Board Game Barrister – Glendale

Players taking part in PLAY! Pokémon tournaments are grouped by age division. The divisions are:

• Junior Division: Players born in 2001 or later
  
• Senior Division: Players born in 1997, 1998, 1999 or 2000
  
• Masters Division: Players born in 1996 or earlierTo participate in the event, you must be a player in good standing and abide by the Pokémon Tournament Rules and all other applicable event rules. Players who are found to be in violation of the rules of eligibility are subject to suspension from Pokémon Organized Play and to the loss of prizes, including, but not limited to, invitations and travel awards.In addition, players should be aware of the following:
• A player’s deck must comply with the Modified Format as outlined in the Pokémon Tournament Rules.
• All players are expected to bring their Player ID card, if they have one. If they have not previously been given a Player ID, one can be obtained at the event.
• Players should review the Pokémon Tournament Rules for more information about what to bring to an event.
• Deck Lists, Damage Counters, Dice or randomizer are required.

Every qualified player must have an updated Pokémon Trainer Club account in order to be eligible for a Travel Award.

Play! Pokémon Premier TCG events are run using the Modified Format and Swiss pairings. See the Official Pokemon Tournament Rules for additional information about the Modified and Swiss formats. The number of Swiss rounds run will depend on the total attendance of the event.

After Swiss rounds are complete, there will be a cut to single-elimination finals. The number of players to qualify for the finals will not exceed 4 players NO MATTER HOW MANY PLAYERS IN THE AGE DIVISION
